Re: help!
Thu, November 3, 2005 - 2:20 PMyou should defenitely try and negotiate without screaming
if that doesnt work, you do something obnoxiously loud over and over and try to get them to see how you feel

Tue, November 8, 2005 - 11:28 PMThat's horrific.. Just.. Horrific. Get away! Move out!
It's noise pollution, thought pollution.
It's like living in a house full of indoor smokers.
It's unhealthy and damaging to your mind, your peace, your sanity.
Get out!! -

Wed, November 9, 2005 - 10:03 AMlease is up in july. im def moving out then, but until then, its winter, i cant go outside, and my house is hell...
we got in a total music vs. tv volume battle the other day. which resulted in one of my roommates calling the one who wasnt home to tell her to call me and tell me that i "have" to turn down my music because they couldnt hear their precious Reno 911. holy freaking god please just kill me.

Re: help!
Wed, December 14, 2005 - 6:10 PMI've had problems with loud housemates in the past. You could try to remind them that you also live there and you would appreciate some consideration. Maybe suggest that they turn it down low instead of asking them to turn it off completely. Let them know what is acceptable to you. Be prepared to compromise. Hope these suggestions help! -

Re: help!
Wed, December 14, 2005 - 6:14 PMMy mate and I eventually asked the inconsiderate housemates to respect our need for quiet or move out. Unless you are the primary on the lease this might not be a possible solution for you.
